This Notification Template Management screen allows users to set up pre-configured notification messages with a pre-assigned group of users. These Notifications can be used for information only or actionable tasks. If a user receives an actionable task via the Notification module, the software tracks the progress of the action and gives feedback to the original requestor once completed.

For example, if regular notifications are sent out to a Cycle Counting Team, then a Notification Template can be configured, notifying all Cycle Counting personnel added to the group.

Other possible templates to consider are:

  • Urgent Order to be picked

  • A ‘Please All Log Out of DATASCOPE WMS/SYSPRO’ message.

  • Move pallets to Quarantine.

  • Load truck XYZ

It also allows users to communicate with each other within the software, including users working on pc-screens, HTML5 scanner-based screens or tablets.

  • Enter a name for the Template in the Name field.

  • Add a description in the Description field

  • Select a Type from the Type drop-down

  • Select the Priority from the Priority drop-down

  • Select the required Available WMS Users or group from the Available WMS Users Colum.

  • Select Add

  • Once the users has been added to the data grid, you can select the required action from the Action drop-down. Two options exist:

    • Actionable (will be tracked by the system and the creator will be notified)

    • Notify Only (only for information purposes)

  • Or, if required, you can Remove a group as well, by selecting Remove.

  • Select Create

  • If you make changes to a Template, select Update to save the changes.
