FUNCIONALITY OVERVIEW

This report is an exception report that identifies all picking

TrackID's

TrackIDs that are active and have active inventory on them, but their associated

picking slip

Pick Slip is in a status where the tracking ID should hold zero inventory and or should be inactive.

For every pick slip in DATASCOPE WMS, the software will have at least one picking TrackID. As the pick slip moves through various statuses, the linked

TrackID's

TrackIDs carry the picked inventory. Once the pick slip has been completed (Invoiced or dispatched) or if the pick slip has been

cancelled

canceled, the

link Tracking ID's

linked TrackIDs should hold zero inventory and

should

be INACTIVE.

Pick Slips displayed in this report have stock on them but will never clear themselves out of the system automatically. Investigations should be carried out to determine why the Pick Slip still contains stock but the sales order has been invoiced or closed. Once it is determined that the Pick Slips should be “closed down,” the best practice would be to transact TrackID consolidations from off the Pick Slips back into the warehouse Pick Slip racking. Once the TrackID consolidations have been done, this list should clear on refresh. This report should always be clean.

  • Run the Report

  • The report will show a list of all Pick Slips which have a picking TrackID with stock on it and the status of the Pick Slip is COMPLETE, CANCELLED, INVOICED, DELIVERY NOTED, LOADED, UNLOADED or DISPATCHED.

Info

The report should always be clear. If there are lines on this report a super user should investigate and close these TrackIDs down in the software.

If the stock is not physically in the warehouse in order to perform the TrackID consolidation, the suggestion is to perform a TrackID Status Update (to INACTIVE) and to cancel the applicable Pick Slip, using the right-click “Cancel Pick Slip” option on the Pick Slip Review Screen

SPECIAL FEATURES

  • In an environment where there are IT infrastructure issues such as network instability or server capacity problems transactions can start to fail. In these cases is it possible to end up with a mismatch between the picking slip and the TrackID tables. This report is designed to show these mismatches.

The report should always be clear. If there are lines on this report a super user should investigate and close these Tracking IDs down in the software.

STANDARD PROCESS

  • Run the report

  • Address each line on the report
