FASTTRACK WMS and DATASCOPE PREMIUM WMS are licensed on an annual basis. TO RUN YOUR LICENSED SOFTWARE, an XML file must be imported from our Admin department.
When purchasing the software for the first time, you had to import the XML file as part of the Docker installation process.

After that, the following process must be followed to renew the license file annually.
Obtain your license.xls file from our Admin department.
Save As the file.
Ensure the License folder has the correct permissions.
Start using the software again.
This guide covers how to renew your FASTTRACK WMS annual license after your existing annual license has expired. The same process can be followed to renew your DATASCOPE PREMIUM WMS annual license.

Obtain your license xls file from our Admin Department
Our Admin department will email you a renewed license file annually. If no license file was received, log a call with our Support Team.
License Renewal Steps
To renew the license file once it has expired, the existing file must be replaced by the new file. The file is on the software Server under c:/FastTrack/License/ (for FASTTRACK WMS) and c:\DatascopeLicense (for DATASCOPE PREMIUM WMS) . Once you have confirmed that this folder exists, copy the new license xml file provided into that folder.
Browse to the folder c:/FastTrack/License/ or c:\DatascopeLicense (depending on the software version) and rename the existing/old license file. For example, add the word ‘Old.’ This is purely to ensure you don’t delete the incorrect file.
Save As the new license.xml file under the same folder.
Browse to c:/FastTrack/License/ on your FASTTRACK WMS Server and c:\DatascopeLicense on your DATASCOPE PREMIUM WMS Server
Open WMS to ensure it is working again.
Delete the old license file.

Note: The License folder must have permissions set to allow server users access to the license file. The easiest way to ensure that the permissions are correct is to grant full access for the user “Everyone” to the License folder and its contents. Follow the steps below explaining how to update the permissions on the folder. |
Update permissions on the folder
Browse to the folder from your File Explorer and locate the c:/FastTrack/License/. or c:\DatascopeLicense folder.
Right-click on the folder and select Properties.
The Properties window will open. Select the Security TAB
If the user Everyone does not exist, you can add it by selecting Add.
Type Everyone in the field provided and select Check names.
Select Add
Once the user is added, select Everyone in the top pane. Notice that the user's permissions will be displayed at the bottom of the window.
Select all the checkboxes under the Allow column!
Select Apply and then OK.
Ensure you have copied the new .xml license file over to the c:\DatascopeLicense folder.
Open your WMS system and log in to verify that the application is licensed.
