A warehouse uses a pick slip to pick items from dedicated bin locations. This can either be in the form of a Job Pick Slip or a Purchase Order Pick Slip. The document contains important information about the inventory that must be picked. The Pick Slip Review screen within DATASCOPE WMS is used to view, manage and track the progress of Pick Slips.

Picking slips are tracked in detail through the following statuses:>> there are more statuses

  1. Created (pick slip number has been assigned)

  2. Printed/Released (pick slip has been released to the floor)

  3. Assigned (the picking slip has been assigned to a picker)

  4. Started (the picking process has begun)

  5. Picked (picking has been completed)

  6. Checked (the picking slip has been through a pack station and or a checkout station)

  7. Shipping (the pick has been linked to a shipping bill of lading or waybill)

  8. Invoiced/DNote (an invoice or dispatch note has been released in SYSPRO for the pick)

  9. Dispatched (The picking slip has been shipped)

  10. Loaded / UnLoaded* (Scanned on or off a Truck)

  11. Complete* (The Trip Sheet are printed for a Truck Load)

  12. Canceled (The Pick Slip is cancelled)

All aspects of the picking process are recorded including the operator’s name for each status as well as detailed records of the stock picked and checked out per order.
