SYSPRO
<intro text>When doing Sales Order Picking, FASTTRACK WMS can run in two different ways.
· SYSPRO to not do the shipping, even though FASTRACK WMS did ship the order
· All orders are open to pick and ship
SYSPRO can reserve stock and lots for a particular sales order without shipping the stock. FASTTRACK WMS will always perform the shipping function in SYSPRO and will supply the lot numbers to be shipped based on what is physically picked on the floor; therefore, we do not want SYSPRO to do the shipping.
However, occasionally users want the stock to be reserved in SYSPRO for a particular sales order but not ship the order. In these instances, we want to turn on the SYSPRO Reserve stock functionality.
Let’s update the settings not to allow actual shipping in SYSPRO.

Note: These two options will allow users to reserve stock codes and lots on SYSPRO sales orders without shipping them. |
The other picking option is to run a Backorder system in SYSPRO. In this case, all stock is open for any sales order in SYSPRO, to be picked and confirmed by FASTTRACK WMS, and to be shipped out of inventory.

For more information on the difference between running ‘In Reserve’ versus ‘In Backorder’ in SYSPRO refer to the SYSPRO help files. |

Note: If the ‘In Reserve’ process is used in SYSPRO, then FASTTRACK WMS must be configured as well. |
