Before registering a printer in DATASCOPE WMS it must first be installed, following a normal printer installation process.

Once your printers are installed, you must register the printer names within DATASCOPE WMS.

Follow the steps below to register a printer within DATASCOPE WMS:

  • The default IISPDFPrinter should be the only printer that displays in the list

  • Select the blank row at the bottom of the data grid (underneath the IISPDFPrinter) to add the newly installed printer. Enter the printer’s name as it has been installed on the server and give it a description.

  • Select the LabelPrinter checkbox, if this is a Label printer.

  • Select Apply in the bottom-right corner of the screen

The next step is to set up the printer against the appropriate System Action(for example, printing Sales Order Pick Slips).
