Inventory Backflush (Warehouse Movements) [MOV002]
Inventory Backflush (Warehouse Movements) [MOV002]

FUNCTIONALITY OVERVIEW

The PC based and Scanner based Back flushing screens are used in process type manufacturing operations where it is not possible or inefficient  to open and close job cards. Industries with continuous processes such as breweries or large creamed cheese manufacturers will run a continuous production line. The simple back flush transaction works well for these processes.

Product is typically scanning into a WIP warehouse as a bin transfer. Then as product is manufactured and palletized at the end of the process a simple scanner or PC transaction station is setup. Normally this transaction is posted on a scanner. A nearby printer is selected to print the Tracking ID labels as the transactions are posted. This printer is often mounted next to a pallet wrapping station as this create a logical place to prepare the pallet before putting the pallet away into inventory.
