Settings System Setup / User Setup / User Licensing [SET081]

Any WMS user must be a valid SYSPRO user, and all SYSPRO operator and group permissions and securities carry over from SYSPRO to DATASCOPE WMS. So you’ll need to ensure that users are first created within SYSPRO.

The next step happens after the SYSPRO user has correctly been configured with e.net licenses. The SYSPRO user must now be marked as a FASTTRACK DATASCOPE WMS user.

Try it!

  • Close SYSPRO and open FASTTRACK DATASCOPE WMS

  • Navigate to Settings / User Licensing on the Ribbon bar.

  • The User Licensing screen will open.

Info

Notice at the top of the User Licensing screen you will see in how many days your current License will Expiry.

  • Select the check mark under the Licensed column for that user in the Licensed columna user to be added

  • If you purchased the WMS E.Net Objects module and users are linked to the E.Net Business Objects Layer you get the same number of E.Net Licensed Seats as per DATASCOPE WMS Licensed Seats. This is useful in the event where certain users don’t need to work in DATASCOPE WMS, but occasionally need to post transactions via your installed Production system. The E.Net Licensed user does not necessarily have to be the same user as the DATASCOPE WMS Licensed user. Both must, however, have SYSPRO licensing.

Info

Note: The Licensed Seat view at the bottom of the screen will update with the number of users checked.

  • Select Apply at the bottom right of the screen
