UNCTIONALITY OVERVIEWThis application is used to print your own operator login labels. There are two forms of operator tag or label. This one simply prints a bar code for each operator to one of your local bar code label printers. The other option is to export your operator details and have these printed onto a formal ID card by one of the DATASCOPE DSP's or a DATASCOPE corporate office. Below is a typical simple printed operator label that this program will generate for you:
STANDARD PROCESS• Enter a valid Operator or use the lookup button and select an operator from the pop up screen. • Enter the password for that operator.• Please note that a log-in is performed in order to validate that the log in is valid – this will result in the operator being logged out if he/she is logged in elsewhere. Likewise, if you print a label for Operator that you have currently logged in as, you will be logged out and have to log into the WMS again.• Enter a company password (if required)• Click the print button. • The size and appearance of the label is determined by the Crystal Report selected, typically this can look as follows:
PECIAL FEATURES• Logon credentials are validated when entering the users’ passwordSYSPRO Requirements & Business objects used• NoneDATASCOPE Table updates• NoneAll Operators working on a warehouse floor must be identified and tracked during any cycle within a warehouse. A label that the operator must use to sign in every time he processes a transaction is used for this purpose.
This screen will print a barcode label for each operator to your selected barcode label printer. For a more robust, formal ID Card, you can contact a DATASCOPE Solution Provider (DSP)
A prerequisite before creating an operator label is for the Operator to be correctly configured in DATASCOPE WMS and SYSPRO. Refer to Set up your users to create or view licensing details.
You can start browsing for the Operator code by clicking the search icon next to the Operator field. If you know the Operator code, you can type it in.
The Lookup Operator screen has a sort function. If you click on the Group icon and drag it into the data grid, it will reveal all the Operator codes, or you can open a specific group by selecting the plus sign in front of the Group name. Click on the operator row and press the Select button.
In the Password field, you must enter the SYSPRO password for the specific Operator selected.
Enter the SYSPRO company password in the Company Password field.
Select Print. Notice that the label will not print immediately as the system will first validate if the user credentials are correct

SPECIAL FEATURES
Users will be logged out of all instances of DATASCOPE WMS if a Operator Label is printed.
DATASCOPE WMS creates a token code that is used for the logons. This token is an encrypted combination of the user’s SYSPRO username and SYSPRO password. When it is converted to the barcode, which prints on the label, the credentials will not be recognizable if you convert the barcode into a human-readable format.
Logon credentials are validated when entering the users’ password
TECHNICAL
When printing to a physical printer you must ensure that the System Settings is configured correctly. The OPERATORLABELING setting under Settings / Printers on the Ribbon Bar must point to the physical printer. For more information, refer to Configure Printers
