FUNCIONALITY OVERVIEW
In early versions of SYSPRO the Sales Order module did not have the "In Reserve" functionality if now holds. The only way that we could effectively work with SYSPRO was to force all sales orders in SYSPRO into back orderA Planning Team uses this report to see what Sales Orders are in Back Order and what is Reserved in DATASCOPE WMS.
Info |
---|
This report does not apply to sites that run SYSPRO’s In Reserve functionality. |
As DATASCOPE WMS and SYSPRO are tightly integrated, and earlier versions of SYSPRO’s Sales Order Module did not have the In Reserve functionality, we forced all Sales Orders in SYSPRO into Back Order. DATASCOPE WMS then took control of the reservations of inventory (and not
SYSPRO’s In Ship field)
(Inventory cannot be left in
In Ship
in SYSPRO as that locks the inventory, and normal warehousing functions such as Cycle
Counting and general warehouse movements are restricted.
)
This report is then used to assist the Planning Teams to see what Sales Orders are in Back Order and what is Reserved in DATASCOPE WMS. The Releasing process can then be driven from here.
All open SYSPRO Sales Order detail lines can be filtered and reported to the front end.
The report
indicates which Sales Orders and lines have a
pick slip or stock reservation against them and which are still genuinely in
Back Order.
This report is then used to drive the releasing process.
note: This report is not needed at a site that runs SYSPRO's "In Reserve" functionality.
STANDARD PROCESS
Select the filtersSelect the various filter options at the top of the screen to find only the
Sales Order lines applicable.
Select the Refresh icon to load the data grid.
You can group, filter, and sort the information using the Drag a column header here to group by that column area at the top of the data grid, just above the column headers. This is useful if you quickly want to group and calculate your data.
Click on a column header and drag it to the grey area, stating Drag a column header here to group by that column.
To return to the original view, simply just drag that column back to the data grid.
Multiple column headers can be grouped at the same time.
Any columns can be counted or sum by clicking on the Sigma icon in the column header and selecting count. The counted value appears at the foot of the data grid for that column.
Once you are done arranging your data, you can export that specific view. You have two options to export, 1) export to PDF 2) export directly to Excel.
To export your view to PDF, select the PDF icon
To export directly to Excel, select the Excel export icon
