FUNCIONALITY OVERVIEW

In early versions of SYSPRO the Sales Order module did not have the "In Reserve" functionality if now holds. The only way that we could effectively work with SYSPRO was to force all sales orders in SYSPRO into back order

A Planning Team uses this report to see what Sales Orders are in Back Order and what is Reserved in DATASCOPE WMS.

Info

This report does not apply to sites that run SYSPRO’s In Reserve functionality.

As DATASCOPE WMS and SYSPRO are tightly integrated, and earlier versions of SYSPRO’s Sales Order Module did not have the In Reserve functionality, we forced all Sales Orders in SYSPRO into Back Order. DATASCOPE WMS then took control of the reservations of inventory (and not

(Inventory cannot be left in

in SYSPRO as that locks the inventory, and normal warehousing functions such as Cycle

Counting and general warehouse movements are restricted.

 With clients holding all sales order lines in back order we needed a report in DATASCOPE WMS that would allow the sales and planning teams a clear view of what order lines are genuinely in back order and which are actually reserved in DATASCOPE WMS. This report give the user that view.

)

This report is then used to assist the Planning Teams to see what Sales Orders are in Back Order and what is Reserved in DATASCOPE WMS. The Releasing process can then be driven from here.

All open SYSPRO Sales Order detail lines can be filtered and reported to the front end.

note: This report is not needed at a site that runs SYSPRO's "In Reserve" functionality.

    • Any columns can be counted or sum by clicking on the Sigma icon in the column header and selecting count. The counted value appears at the foot of the data grid for that column.
