The shipping module is built to manage the shipment of orders through a third-party logistics provider (LSP’s). It is designed to prepare and control the shipping of pallets of products (stock) that have already been picked and checked out. You can use the Shipping module to create waybills and packing lists to be given to a third-party logistics provider (LSPs) (shipper/courier) or use your trucks to deliver the stock.
Once the entire order has correctly been packed onto Shipping TrackID by using the MSN Grocery Pack Check Out process, the dispatch staff must scan each Shipping TrackID into the Dispatch Bin or Lane in the dispatching staging area (if shipping lanes are being used in your warehouse)
Info |
---|
Note: This is not a mandatory step but can assist the dispatch staff in gathering all Shipping TrackIDs for a single shipment in one physical place. |
Scan (or type) the first Shipping TrackID.
Notice the associated Shipping TrackIDs for the same pick slip will display in the data grid. This is to assist the user to find the linked Shipping TrackID and stage them all together on the floor.
The current Dispatch Bin that it was created in will first display. This is the default Shipping Palletization Bin that has been setup.
Next, the user will scan the appropriate Dispatch Lane and Post the transaction to update the bin location.
Info |
---|
Note: This does not process a Bin Transfer in SYSPRO. It only updates the Bin for that Shipping TrackID. |
This action will be performed on all the Shipping TrackIDs as they are physically moved into the Dispatch Lanes.
A Waybill can be reviewed at any point in time, prior to dispatching the goods - Open the Waybill/BOL Maintenance screen under Shipping on the Main menu on the PC screen.
