Inbound Mass Check

FUNCTIONALITY OVERVIEW 

This mass check

This Mass Check module can be used to mass-check

STANDARD PROCESS
The process is as follows:

  • Enter/scan pallet number

  • Enter pallet tare

  • Enter additional packaging tare if required

  • Fetch mass on the scale attached

  • A pop up will appear if tolerance is exceeded and the user can override

  • tblPallet

    • Enter the TrackID (pallet number) in the TrackID field or use the lookup icon to locate it.

    • Enter the TrackID Tare

    • Enter the Packaging 1 Tare and Packaging 2 Tare, if required.

    • Select the Fetch Mass button, to select the Mass from the scale.

    • A pop-up will appear if the tolerance is exceeded. The user has the option to override this.

    • Select Post

    • This will activate the pallets

    • A Mass check label can be printed.

    • Any pallet that fails we need to be negative receipted in SYSPRO, as the inventory has already been received into SYSPRO. The pallet in DATASCOPE can be manually inactivated in this scenario

    • If using the Fetch Mass option, the scale setup must be done first to weigh the stock.

    TECHNICAL

    • A plugin (Final Mass Checkout Fetch Mass) must be configured to link the Fetch Mass button to a weight scale. For more information, refer to Plugin Customization

    • A Tolerance over and Tolerance under can be set per warehouse. This specifies the percentages mass tolerance allowed OVER or UNDER the variance for the warehouse. From the Ribbon bar, select Settings / Warehouse Settings. Select the required Warehouse from the Warehouse drop-down and locate RECEIVING in the System Name drop-down. Update the SettingValue for MASSCHECK_TOLERANCE_OVER and MASSCHECK_TOLERANCE_UNDER to required tolerance percentage mass

    • In order to print the Mass check label the following settings must be configured correctly. From the Ribbon bar, select Settings / Warehouse Settings. Select the required Warehouse from the Warehouse drop-down and locate MASS_CHECKOUT in the System Name drop-down. Update the SettingValue for MASSCHECK_PRINT_LABEL to Y(es) and ensure the correct template are linked

    • Configure the correct RPT template. On the Ribbon Bar, browse to Settings / Warehouse Settings. Select the applicable warehouse and locate the MASS_CHECKOUT System name and add the RPT template (.rpt) to the MASSCHECK_LABEL setting value.
