This screen will pre-assign picking slips to pickers as they request more work from the Pick Slip Release office in the Warehouse.
A dependency for this module is a pc with a keyboard wedge scanner and automated tab functionality enabled.
As a picker comes to the office to get more work to pick, a Pick Slip Release office resource will scan the picker’s user ID card and select and scan one or more picking slips to assign to the picker. The pick slips will be assigned to the picker, and he can continue picking the products using the HTML5 Sales Pick to Pick Slip screen.
Picking refers to the process within a warehouse where individual items are picked from a location (either a bin or pick face) to satisfy a customer order or sales order. Within DATASCOPE WMS, we have multiple picking strategies of which the Sales Pick to Pick Slip is only one.
The Company that you are logged onto will display automatically.
The screen will state Ready, and the Pick Slip Release office resource can assign the next pick slip to the next picker.
Scan the picker’s Picking ID Card, using the keyboard wedge scanner.
Scan the next available Pick Slip Number
The screen will state OK in green, and the pick slip will be assigned to the picker.
Refer to the Pick Slip Review screen to review the pick slip and assignment.
SPECIAL FEATURES
Pick slips can only be assigned to one user at a time.
