Once the truck arrives at the distribution warehouse (target warehouse), the TrackIDs on the GIT Out document can be received using the GIT In mobile screen.

If you don’t like reading, you can watch the video.

Try it!

  • Open the GIT In mobile screen.

  • The GIT Ref number must be entered (or scanned) into the GIT Ref field. This is visible on the barcode on the GIT Out document.

  • A pop-up will appear, asking whether any new TrackIDs labels are required.

  • This is only required if the source warehouse did not generate the GIT Out transaction from a DATASCOPE WMS-controlled warehouse.

  • Select No.

  • All the TrackIDs on the GIT Out document will appear in the Full TrackIDs data grid.

  • Enter or scan each TrackID as it gets offloaded from the truck.

  • As each TrackID is scanned, it will turn green in the data grid.

Note: This transaction is being performed on the Full TrackIDs TAB, indicating that only full TrackIDs are received in the target warehouse.

  • If a TrackID is scanned in error, you can click the Clear Scans button to reset the entire GIT as it was before scanning anything, and no transactions will occur.

  • Once all TrackIDs have been scanned, a pop-up message will appear, letting you know that you must complete the GIT on the Partial TrackID Qty TAB by clicking the Confirm button.

Note: It is possible to do a Partial receipt and not receive all TrackIDs simultaneously. In this case, navigate to the Partial TrackID QTYs TAB whenever you are ready and click Confirm.

  • A pop-up message appears asking to reprint GIT TrackIDs. This relates to the new TrackID labels, which might have been printed when you first started the GIT In transaction.

  • Select Cancel as no new TrackIDs were created.

  • The software will perform the GIT In transaction for the scanned TrackIDs in DATASCOPE WMS and SYSPRO. It is essentially a warehouse transfer of stock from the source (production warehouse) to the target warehouse (distribution center).

  • The TrackIDs that have been scanned in on the GIT In transaction will become ACTIVE in DATASCOPE WMS and have been receipted into the Receiving bin of the target warehouse (distribution center)

  • The GIT detail can again be seen on the TrackID History screen.

Note: The Receiving bin is configured in the Warehouse Settings. On the Ribbon Bar, browse to Settings / Warehouse Settings and select the target warehouse (distribution center), and under the System Name GIT, select the Setting Name GIT_IN_RECEIPTING_BIN. Update it with the Receiving bin.
