Reference Number
The GIT Reference number can be defined by changing the GIT_SCT_SYSPRO_AUTOMATIC_NUMBERING setting. The default setting for this setting is Y(es) for all FASTTRACK WMS installations. This means that SYSPRO supplies the GIT number. However, this can be set to N(o), and then the GIT reference number will be dictated by the next number in the DATASCOPE WMS tblNumber table.
On the Ribbon bar, browse to Settings / System Settings and locate the GIT System Name. Locate the GIT_SCT_SYSPRO_AUTOMATIC_NUMBER Setting name and update it according to your preference. Select Apply to save the change.
Y(es) – SYSPRO supplies the GIT reference number.
N(o) – DATASCOPE WMS supplies the GIT reference number.
Note: If set to N(o), ensure the SYSPRO’s Goods in Transit numbering method is set to Manual. For all other SYSPRO numbering methods, the DATASCOPE WMS system setting is overridden by SYSPRO’s number.
If you choose to use DATASCOPE’s GIT numbering and not SYSPRO’s, you will also need to configure the GIT_REF_NUMBER_PAD_CHAR and GIT_REF_NUMBER_PAD_LENGTH settings under the GIT system setting accordingly. The PAD CHAR setting determines what character will be used for padding the reference number, and the PAD LENGTH indicates how long the reference number will be.
Labels
To configure the labels (TrackID and GIT Out document), the .rpt template must be added to the following two settings.
GIT / BARRELLABEL = DATASCOPE_TRACKID_4X2.5.rpt
GIT / GITOUTDOCUMENT = DATASCOPE_GIT_OUT_LETTER.rpt
