FUNCTIONALITY OVERVIEW

This screen has been developed to allow a super user or system administrator a "back door" route to update the status of a Tracking ID. This function is normally used to update the status of a Tracking ID when there has been some transaction failure in the core software.

The following is a list of available Tracking ID statuses are:

  1. ONHOLD

- Tracking ID's for newly receipted product will go to a status of ONHOLD if the product is set to inspection required in SYSPRO. Also, Picking Track ID's move into a status of ONHOLD in some cases just after shipping the stock in SYSPRO but before INACTIVATING the tracking ID at invoicing. Picking Tracking ID status should only be changed in extreme cases as the software manages the statuses of picking Track IDs automatically.

  1. CREATED

- Tracking ID's that are still being built up in the software will be in CREATED status. For instance if you are building up a brand new pallet in Job Receipt or LCT receipt these Tracking IDs will be in CREATED status.

  1. PRINTED

- When using PO Pre Receipt the software allows the user to pre-print Tracking ID's and then scan stock onto these Tracking ID's before posting the PO Pre receipt to generate the GRN. In this state the Tracking ID cannot be ACTIVE as DATASCOPE WMS would expect to find the stock in SYSPRO and if it cannot, these Tracking ID's would be on the balance report. PRINTED Tracking ID's will not show on the balance report.

  1. ACTIVE

- Most Tracking IDs are in ACTIVE status. This shows us that the Tracking ID has active inventory lines that are currently in stock and represented in SYSPRO.

  1. INACTIVE

- Tracking ID's become INACTIVE once all the inventory on them has been moved off to another Tracking ID or during the ship and invoicing processes. This is however not the case with Pick Face Tracking ID types as these never become INACTIVE.

STANDARD PROCESS

  • Scan or enter the Track ID number

  • Select Delete on the lines to be deleted

  • Click the quantity field to edit the quantity and then click Update to update the Tracking ID detail line
