Inbound Mass Check

FUNCTIONALITY OVERVIEW

This mass check can be used to mass check product after the initial receipt has been processed in WMS/SYSPRO.
All items flagged as inspection required in SYSPRO are processed through the normal PO receipt or LCT receipt screen. When the post takes place into SYSPRO, WMS immediately receipts the stock into SYSPRO into inspection and then accepts and passes it. However, WMS automatically places the tracking ID on HOLD.

The mass check will activate pallets, if the pallet mass is within tolerance of the total theoretical mass calculated. This is particularly important when receiving full pallets of 1 stock code from a supplier and not unpacking the pallet but weighing to validate that all the stock is there.

STANDARD PROCESS
The process is as follows:

  • Enter/scan pallet number

  • Enter pallet tare

  • Enter additional packaging tare if required

  • Fetch mass on the scale attached

  • A pop up will appear if tolerance is exceeded and the user can override

  • Press post to allow pallets to become ACTIVE

  • Any pallet that fails we need to be negative receipted in SYSPRO, as the inventory has already been received into SYSPRO. The pallet in DATASCOPE can be manually inactivated in this scenario
