During the installation phase of FASTTRACK WMS, there are certain SYSPRO Settings that must be updated to work with FASTTRACK WMS.

One of these settings is the key types and presentation lengths to ensure that the presentation length and key types are correct to be compatible with status codes within FASTTRACK WMS.

Try it!

  • The next Setup Options you must go to are Keys > Distribution – Inventory, Goods in Transit.

  • For easy access use the Quick Search bar and type in Presentation Length.

  • Within the Search Results scroll down to Presentation length – Distribution – Inventory, Goods in Transit. Select to open the Keys > Distribution – Inventory, Goods in Transit screen.

  • On the Keys > Distribution – Inventory, Goods in Transit screen the following fields must be updated as follows:

    • Goods in transit

      • Key type = Alphanumeric

      • Presentation Length = 15

    • Lots

      • Key Type = Alphanumeric

      • Case = Mixed

      • Presentation Length = 15

      • Numbering method = Manual

Note: The Key types must be set to Alphanumeric because when FASTTRACK WMS does the Goods in Transit out we use the pick slip number as the transfer document and that pick slip number usually has alpha characters in it.

Note: Exit completely out of SYSPRO for the changes to take effect.
