Cycle Count Scheduler [STK010]

The Cycle Count Scheduler allows users to build up a cycle count schedule of items that need to be counted. When the Scheduled Type counts are selected, they will appear on the users' scanners on the Cycle Count tab.

  • To create a Cycle Count schedule, click the Add to Count button on the Cycle Count Scheduler screen.

  • The Open Cycle Count screen will open.

  • Select a Warehouse.

  • The Schedule section allows users to enter how many bins they would like to count per week (for a 7-day week, weekends and public holidays included). It also indicates how many bins must be counted (Bins to Count) for that selection and the schedule's estimated end date (Estimated End Date).

Due dates are calculated by taking the number of bins to be counted per week and, starting with the current date assigning it until the number per week has been reached,  7-days will then increment the date. They will be assigned to the next group of bins, this will be repeated until all selected bins have a due date.

  • The Bin Type section will list the different types of bins and how many there are of each.

  • Select the Bin Types that must be included in the schedule

  • The ABC Class section is only applicable if a Pick face Bin Type was selected. The user can then select which Pick face Bin is linked to a certain ABC Class and must be included in the schedule.

  • Select Add to add the selected Bins to the Schedule. Once Add has been selected the data grid on the Cycle Count Schedule screen will populate.

  • If the stock code is added as a filter on the Cycle Count Schedule screen, before selecting the Add to Count button, all results will pertain only to the bins in which that stock code has a quantity greater than 0 at that time.

  • Once a Bin has been counted (using the HTML5 scanner Cycle Count module) and confirmed on the Cycle Count Approval screen, it will be removed from the schedule.

  • The option exist to also right-click on the data grid and Delete Selected Count (a Bin) from the schedule or to Delete All Count for Date/Time, which will delete the entire schedule.

SPECIAL FEATURES

  • Counts where their Due dates has been missed will be displayed in red

  • The Total Outstanding Counts will be displayed in the top right-hand corner

  • If the screen stays open for more than a minute a message will pop asking the user to refresh the grid, this is to cater for any changes that could have happened to the bins before creating the schedule.
