Pickface Replenishment Review (Warehouse Movements) [REP010]
Pickface replenishment is a process whereby pick face bins (which are the bins that are typically on the lower levels of warehouse racking) are replenished by bulk bin locations (which are typically the bins that are on the upper levels in the warehouse) to make the picking on the floor level a streamlined task for warehouse staff.
WMS has an automatic pick face calculation program that continually checks the stock levels in all pick face bins and generates replenishment records for users to pick and fill up the pick face locations periodically. Different rules govern this calculation.
Once your pick face bins have been set up and configured, the WMS Replenishment module will automatically start generating requirements against each bin location.
To continue with the pick face replenishment process, you must ensure you have pick face bins set up first. For more information on setting up your pick face bins and the rules governing the calculations, refer to the Maintain Pickfaces sceen.
Use the filters at the top of the screen to search for data or you can select the refresh icon.
The Bins that require replenishment will appear in the data grid.
The Qty required to replenish is visible in the ReplenQty column. (This is based on the logic of the automatic calculation)
The CreatedTime column in the data grid refers to the date and time when the replenishment was generated.
The AvailableStockQty column refers to the Qty available for that specific stock code within the supplying warehouse of that pick face bin setup
Warehouse supervisors will monitor the progress of replenishments using this screen, and the replenishment staff will be tasked to pick the necessary stock by moving through the warehouse, selecting replenishment lines on the HTML5 scanner. The Pickface Replenishment module on the HTML5 scanner will be used for this process.
SPECIAL FEATURES
The creation time of the line is recorded.
The line begins as open, and will turn red on the screen on the PC and scanner if the line is open and the length of time between when the report is run and the created time exceeds that specified by the setting below.
Lines show as IN PROGRESS if the user has started working on them on their scanner on the pick face replenishment tab.
The clear all button will clear all replenishments in the list (even if they are in progress)
Single lines can be deleted by right-clicking on the line and clicking delete line
