Setting up the Notification Templates
Notification System / Notification Template Management [NOT001]
This Notification Template Management screen allows users to set up pre-configured notification templates with a pre-assigned group of users. These notification templates can be used for information only or actionable tasks. If a user receives an actionable task via the Notification module, the software tracks the progress of the action and gives feedback to the original requestor once completed.
For example, if regular notifications are sent out to a Cycle Counting Team, then a Notification Template can be configured, notifying all Cycle Counting personnel added to the group.
Other possible templates to consider are:
·       Urgent Order to be picked.
·       A message: Please All Log Out of DATASCOPE WMS/SYSPRO.
·       Move pallets to Quarantine.
·       Load truck XYZ
It also allows users to communicate with each other within the software, including users working on PC screens, HTML5 scanner-based screens or tablets.

Once the users have been added to the data grid, you can select the required action from the Action drop-down. Two options exist:
Actionable (will be tracked by the system, and the creator will be notified)
Notify Only (only for information purposes)
Or, if required, remove a group by selecting Remove.
Select Create
If you change a Template, select Update to save the changes.
Once the template has been created, users will receive a Notification in their Notification Inbox (and/or their HTML5 scanner-based screens), or Notifications can be sent using the templates created.
