Labeling / Operator Label Print [LAB002]

Try it!

Confirm User is Licensed

A prerequisite before creating an operator label is for the Operator to be correctly configured in DATASCOPE WMS and SYSPRO. Refer to Set up your users.

To view whether an Operator is licensed:

  • On the Ribbon Bar go to Settings / User Licensing

View User Licensing
  • Click to open the User Licensing screen

User Licensing screen with an indication of Licensed users
  • If a user has a tick mark, under the Licensed column, that user is a valid DATASCOPE WMS user

Create an Operator label

Once confirmed that a user is licensed you can continue to print the operator label.

  • Browse to Operator Label Print located on the Main Menu under Labeling / Operator Label Print

  • The Operator Label Print screen will open.

  • Start by browsing for the Operator code by clicking on the search icon next to the Operator field. If you know the Operator code, you can just type it in.

  • The Lookup Operator screen has a sort function. If you click on the Group icon and drag it into the data grid it will reveal all the Operator codes, or you can open a specific group by selecting the plus sign in front of the Group name. Click on the operator row and press the Select button

  • In the Password field you must enter the SYSPRO password for the specific Operator selected.

  • Enter the SYSPRO company password in the Company Password field

  • Select Print. Notice that the label will not print immediately as the system will first validate if the user credentials are correct

  • In the Printer prompt, select to which printer the label must print and select Apply

  • A physical label will print, which the Operators must use to log on to their devices.
