The Windows Mobile 6.1 platform can be installed and configured as part of the Installing DATASCOPE PREMIUM WMS (Clean Install) process.

Note: We are moving away from our legacy Windows Mobile 6.1 scanner platform. This will still be supported until the end of 2025, but we advise all new clients (doing a DATASCOPE PREMIUM Clean Install) to install our new Android mobile scanner platform. For more information on installing and configuring the latest Android Mobile Application, refer to Android Mobile platform

Try it!

To install the WMS Scanner Client, you must go back to the System Manager screen and copy the WMS Scanner Client URL.
This will be one of the lasts screens when you did the Installing DATASCOPE PREMIUM WMS (Clean Install)

The URL should look as follow - http://[ServerName]/warehousing.webservices/scanner/default.htm

The following Download links will appear.

The first three are .Net Framework prerequisites that should be downloaded first for the app to work. The last link will download the .CAB file to install the Mobile Application.
Once the .CAB file has been downloaded, select Save.
Open the File Explorer on your scanner or mobile device and select the DatascopeWMS.CAB file.
The Mobile application will be installed, and an icon will appear on your screen.
