Quality Control / Quality Test Setup / Copy Stock Code Quality Specification [QUC005]

This module allows users to copy existing Quality Control tests’ configurations for a stock code and link them to a different Stock code. The option also exists to keep any tests related to a stock code and add a new test to it or remove and replace the current test with a new one.

Try it!

  • From the Main Menu, browse to Quality Control / Quality Test Setup / Copy Stock Code Quality Specification.

  • The Copy Stock Code Quality Specification screen will open.

  • Enter the Stock Code in the Master Stock Code field.

  • Select the Refresh icon.

  • The test(s) linked to the specific stock code will be visible in the Available Tests data grid.

  • Select the applicable test to copy to a different Stock Code from the Available Tests data grid.

  • Select the Stock Code to copy the Test to in the Stock Code data grid.

  • You have two options to select from:

o   Replace/Add All Test Data – this option will replace any existing test linked to the Stock code.

o   Append Only Test Data – this option will add onto whatever tests are already setup for the Stock Code.

  • You also have the option to Copy the Attachments linked to a Test. Select the Copy Attachments check box.

  • Select the Copy button in the bottom right-hand corner.

  • A pop-up will appear confirming the tests have been copied.

Once all the set-up screens and applicable tests have been configured, the user can start with the Quality Tests.
