The second method to address Ship Complete orders within DATASCOPE WMS is to develop a customized auto reservation rule, which includes the logic to check the SYSPRO Custom Form Field value for each Customer and only create a pick slip for those Sales Orders that have all their lines 100% reserved.

To create Custom Auto Reservation Rules

  • Open DATASCOPE WMS

  • From the Main Menu, browse to System Settings / Plugin Customization / Plugin Configuration

Locate Plugin Configuration

  • The Plugin Configuration screen will open.

  • From the Plugin Name field, select Sales Order Allocation Auto Reservation.

  • Add a Custom name in the Display Name field.

  • Add a .dll file name in the Dll FileName field.

  • Save the new Plugin.

  • This Sales Order Allocation Auto Reservation plugin is linked to the Auto Reserve button on the Sales Order Wave Release. When a custom auto reservation rule has been developed, and the user selects the Auto Reserve button, the custom logic will be applied to the Sales Order lines.
