Warehouse Replenishment Report

Replenishment / Reports / Warehouse Replenishment Report (Replenishment) [REP050]

This report helps Warehouse Managers spot which items tied to customer Sales Orders or Jobs are running low in the primary Distribution Center.

Note: This report must not be used to replenish pickface bins from bulk bin locations in your warehouse.

For example. Company A has one primary Distribution Center with bulk and pickface bins. The standard DATASCOPE PREMIUM WMS Direct Replenishment module will generate replenishment tasks from these bulk bins to the pick face bins. However, if Company A increases in size, they add more off-site bulk bin warehouses, which store products (stock codes) that are sold through the primary Distribution Center. Purchase orders and LCTs may be receipted directly in any of these Distribution Centers, including the newly added off-site bulk bin warehouses. However, the Direct Replenishment module can only draw inventory from one supplying warehouse, which is the source for topping up the pickface bins, according to the replenishment rules set for Sales Orders and Job demands on the pickfaces.

Therefore, the Warehouse Replenishment Report queries available stock in other supplying warehouses (e.g., the new off-site bulk bin warehouses) to bring the required stock into the primary Distribution Center so that the standard pickface replenishment process can work effectively. This ensures enough stock in the primary Distribution Center for Sales Orders and Job demand.

Typically, warehouse managers managing multiple Distribution centers must monitor this report closely to ensure the primary Distribution Center always has sufficient stock.

  • Select the Receiving warehouse from the drop-down. (Typically, the primary Distribution center) (For example: FG warehouse)

  • The Include Orders in Suspense tick box will include all sales orders with a SUSPENSE status in SYSPRO. Select the tick box if required.

  • The Demand Days Ahead value is a default value configured in a System Setting. It refers to the number of days that the system will look ahead on Jobs (DeliveryDate) and Sales Orders (ShipDate) to calculate the demand in SYSPRO. When this is set to -1, all checks are removed, and all Ship and Delivery dates are considered.

  • To update the Demand Days Ahead value. Browse Settings / System Settings from the Ribbon bar and locate the REPLENISHMENT System Name. The default value for the Demand Days Ahead is visible under the DAYS_AHEAD system name.

  • The field is also editable and can be changed when running the report.

  • Select the Refresh icon to load the data grid.

  • The columns in purple relate to the Receiving warehouse, and the pink column relates to the Supplying warehouse.

  • The Receiving warehouse (For example, FG warehouse) columns (purple columns) data derived from SYSPRO information. The Available Stock column data is under Inventory Query / Unallocated QTY for the Receiving warehouse or warehouses in SYSPRO.

  • The Allocated QTY comes from the QTY allocated to Sales Orders plus the QTY allocated to WIP.

  • The Transfer quantity in the Trn Qty column is calculated every time you run the report. It is the sum of the Available Stock and the Min Stock. It is the amount the system suggests you need in the Receiving warehouse (For example, FG warehouse) to cover your demand in that warehouse.

  • The Mass column is the Trn Qty multiplied by the stock codes mass field in SYSPRO. This is included in this report in case there are weight constraints on your transport vehicles, which will be used to transfer the goods from the offsite warehouse to the primary Distribution Center.

  • The remaining five columns in the report, TrackID, Supplier, TrackID Qty, Ref No, and Bin, display TrackID data from DATASCOPE PREMIUM WMS to fulfil the requirements.

o   TrackID – Display the TrackID number for that stock code.

o   Supplier –This is the SYSPRO supplier code associated with the SYSPRO Purchase Order that the pallet was received against.

o   TrackID QTY – Display the QTY per pallet.

o   Ref No – This displays the Supplier reference number, which can be saved against a TrackID header.

o   Bin – Display the DATASCOPE PREMIUM WMS Bin location where the TrackID resides.

  • Warehouse Managers can sort the report by Bin and export it to Excel, which they can give to the bulk Supplying warehouse staff to prepare the TrackID for transport to the Receiving warehouse.

  • This report is dynamic and will update automatically as TrackIDs move from the Supplying warehouse or the stock code master data changes in SYSPRO.

This report assists Warehouse Managers daily or weekly in ensuring that the Receiving warehouse has sufficient stock available at a macro level to satisfy all Sales Orders and Jobs looking a certain number of days in the future.
