SYSPRO Setting for Sales Order Picking
SYSPRO
When doing Sales Order Picking, DATASCOPE WMS can run in two different ways.
SYSPRO to not do the shipping, even though DATASCOPE WMS did ship the order
All orders are open to pick and ship
SYSPRO can reserve stock and lots for a particular sales order without shipping the stock. DATASCOPE WMS will always perform the shipping function in SYSPRO and will supply the lot numbers to be shipped based on what is physically picked on the floor; therefore, we do not want SYSPRO to do the shipping.
However, occasionally users want the stock to be reserved in SYSPRO for a particular sales order but not ship the order. In these instances, we want to turn on the SYSPRO Reserve stock functionality.
Let’s update the settings not to allow actual shipping in SYSPRO.

Try it!
Open SYSPRO
Select Setup / Setup Options from the Ribbon Bar
Search for Reserve stock required
The Configuration / Distribution / Sales Order screen will open
Scroll to the bottom of the screen to locate the Reserving stock heading
Select the checkbox next to Reserving stock required
Also, select the checkbox next to Request lots/bins/serials
The other picking option is to run a Backorder system in SYSPRO. In this case, all stock is open for any sales order in SYSPRO, to be picked and confirmed by DATASCOPE WMS, and to be shipped out of inventory.
DATASCOPE WMS System Setting
Open DATASCOPE WMS
Open Settings / System Settings in the Ribbon Bar
Navigate to Dispatch, then set the RESERVE_OFF_SYSPO6.1_SO_RESERVE_FIELD to Y(es)
Select Apply
This will allow the DATASCOPE WMS Sales Order pick slip release screen to look at the ‘In Reserve’ column on the SYSPRO sales order for the Qty required and not the back-order column
