SYSPRO

One of the most important settings, is the SYSPRO Warehouse setup. The warehouse you are going to use with DATASCOPE WMS must have multiple bins switched on.

Note: Even though DATASCOPE WMS will manage the bins for you, each warehouse within SYSPRO ERP must have this setting enabled before DATASCOPE WMS can be used with a warehouse.

DATASCOPE WMS strongly advises you to work with your SYSPRO VAR to ensure that any changes to the settings mentioned in this user guide are appropriate for your business processes. DATASCOPE WMS takes no responsibility for incorrectly configured SYSPRO settings.

Try it!

Open SYSPRO and navigate to Setup Options under Setup on the Ribbon bar.

Use the Search option (in the top right-hand corner) on the screen to locate the Multiple bins option.

If you prefer to browse, go to Configuration / Distribution / Inventory on the Categories menu.
On the Inventory screen, you need to ensure Multiple Bins is enabled, by checking the checkbox.

The second step is to change this for each warehouse you will be using.
Navigate to Inventory / Set up / Warehouses and update each warehouse that will work with DATASCOPE WMS individually.

On the Warehouse Maintenance screen, search for the first warehouse you want to update. Use the lookup icon or select the drop-down menu.
Ensure that Multiple bins in use is set to Yes for each warehouse.

Select Save
