Labeling / General Labeling LAB004
The General Labeling module is a handy, standalone program within WMS that you can use for the general Labeling of items in your warehouse.
This module does NOT create unique TrackID labels but is a Labeling tool you can use anytime to produce barcoded labels for stock items that may be missing a label.
As various WMS screens provide the option to scan with the scanner, generating barcoded labels for any product you wish to scan makes a lot of sense.
No third-party Labeling software is required with a WMS installation.

From the Main Menu you can browse Labeling / General Labeling
The General Labeling screen will open
There are two label formats configured by default: a 4x4 label (DATASCOPE_GENERAL_LABEL_4X4) and a 4x2.5 label (DATASCOPE_GENERAL_ARTICLE_LABEL_4X2.5)
Note: These default labels can be edited or added to as required. As all FASTTRACK WMS labels are Crystal Report formats, you can make any customized changes you require.

The Lot Expiry Date field will pre-populate according to the lot number you have selected

There are twelve customizable fields that you can rename to anything you want. To rename these customizable fields, you must go to System Settings:
On the Ribbon Bar, select Settings / System Settings
Search for Labeling from the System Name drop-down
Search for SAMPLE_NOTATIONTEXT1 through to twelve. Their default SettingValue is “Custom Text”, but you can edit this to your desired name
These names will then also print on your label
Note: By default, only the first five custom fields will print on the label, however you can edit the Crystal Report to allow it to print all twelve if necessary.
Select Apply after you made your changes and close the System Settings screen
· On your General Labeling screen, you can select Print
· The Printer pop-up will appear for you to select your printer
Note: Please ensure that the System Settings are pointing to a physical label printer to print these labels. To view or update this, go to Settings / Printers. Use the filter icon to locate the SAMPLELABEL System Action.
