Before you can start configuring additional printers, you must ensure that the FASTTRACK WMS Docker and the FASTTRACK WMS Cloud Printing Service have been installed.
As mentioned in the Installation Guide, the Docker Container does not have its own operating system and, therefore, cannot store things like ports and plugins. It also does not have its own print spooler; therefore, we must first install the FASTTRACK WMS Cloud Printing Service.
Once you have installed the FASTTRACK WMS Cloud Printing Service, you can install your first printer.
Note: The IISPDFPrinter will already be installed, as discussed in the FASTTRACK WMS Docker Printing Installation Guide.
Next, you can install a physical printer in your environment. This will follow a normal printer installation process. (For example, how you would install a Brother printer)
Let’s look at configuring this printer in FASTTRACK WMS by registering the printer in FASTTRACK WMS.
