Our current Mobile Platform is HTML5-based and functions on Android 8 or higher Operating Systems. It offers a valuable design kit to tailor screens and screen input according to the client’s requirements. Clients can add custom logic to their Mobile screens in a simple manner.

Note: For help moving from the traditional Windows Mobile Scanner platform to the new Android-based HTML5 module, contact your local DSP or call our Helpdesk.

HTML5 Interface

The HTML5 Interface can be accessed from the PC-based application, or the handheld scanner device used by Operators on the warehouse floor.

Let us open it from the PC-based application. (It will look the same on the handheld scanner device.)

  • Open DATASCOPE WMS

  • On the Ribbon bar, select Launch HTML5 / Launch HTML5.

  • The HTML5 application will open. This is the same screen an Operator will see when using a handheld scanner.

  • The HTML 5 application screen is separated into four main parts:

o   Main Menu

o   Search

o   Application tiles

o   Footer

  • When selecting the small arrow at the top of the screen, the Main Menu will open, like the one within the PC-based application.

  • A Search field is available at the top of the screen to locate the required module easily.

  • The Application Tiles are also accessible from the Main Menu.

  • The Footer area displays the user that is logged in, the Warehouse you are working in, and to which printer you will be printing.

  • At the bottom, within the Footer, you will also find a Menu. This is where you will access all your customized application screens.
