To ensure the correct Picking TrackIDs printout, you must first configure the .rpt templates for both variations.
Please ensure the correct .rpt templates (DATASCOPE_TRACKID_4x2.5.rpt) are configured. To print the Picking TrackID, click on Settings / System Settings on the Ribbon Bar. Locate the PICKINGPALLET System Name, update the setting BARRELLABEL with the applicable .rpt template. The Picking TrackID label can be placed on the box as the Operator picks the pick slips.
Please ensure the correct .rpt templates (DATASCOPE_MSN_PACKINGLIST_TEMPLATE.rpt) are configured. To print the Packet label, click on Settings / Warehouse Settings on the Ribbon Bar. Select the applicable warehouse and locate the SALESORDER_PICKING System Name, update the setting PICKING_TRACKID_TEMPLATE with the applicable .rpt template. This Packet label would print out if the Operator configured the warehouse setting to print the label on after the pick has been Confirmed.
Print the Picking TrackID before picking commences
This allows the Operator to print a wheel of labels prior to picking and pre-label the boxes he will be picking into. This method also allows the user to capture the carton name, which will determine the size of the box, including the dims and mass.
Printing these Picking TrackIDs prior to picking must be done from the Sales Pick to TrackID HTML5 screen and the pick slips must be assigned to the picker before printing.
Open the Sales Pick to TrackID HTML5 screen.
Assign the pick slip to the operator (for more information refer to Assigning TrackID/Box Pick to an Operator )
On the Slips Tab select a Pick Slip that must be picked and select Next.
The Print Tab will now be visible, as the Warehouse Setting (DISPLAY_TRACKID_CREATION_TAB) has been activated.
The Operator can now select the type of box/carton label that must be printed, including how many labels.
Select Print
The Picking TrackID label(s) will print
Select Next to continue to the next tab. Now the Operator will follow the normal picking process.
Print the Picking TrackID during picking (box picking)
This method allows the Operator to print the Picking TrackIDs as they walk through the warehouse picking the stock. Typically, they will have a hip printer with them while picking and print out the Picking TrackID as they pick.
There are three different methods that can be followed:
Print the label before starting to pick (Prompt for labels on assign)
Print the label after a pick slip has been picked and you want to seal the box (Print labels on Next Box)
Print a Packet label after picking and when the pick is confirmed (Prompt for the label on Confirm)
Let us review the configurations required for each method.
