Checking out stock to be loaded on a Waybill

Order Packing & Check Out / Check Out Options / MSN Grocery Pack - MSN Grocery Pack [CHK100]

Try it!

Once ready to dispatch a pick slip (ship to the client), you must create a Shipping TrackID first. This is done on the MSN Grocery Pack screen.

  • From the Main Menu, you can browse to Order Packing & Check Out / Check Out Options / MSN Grocery Pack

Locate the MSN Grocery Pack screen from the Main Menu
  • The MSN Grocery Pack screen will open

The MSN Grocery Pack screen will open
  • On this screen there is the option to create a Shipping TrackID

  • These Shipping TrackIDs are small 4x2.5 sized labels that can be printed as you process the MSN Grocery Pack and physically apply it to the packed pallets.

  • Before processing the checkout, disable the printing of a Carton Label. Only Shipping TrackID labels are required, and we don’t need to print individual carton labels

  • Uncheck the Print Carton check box. This is in the top right-hand corner of the screen

  • Select the Open Shipping TrackID button to create a new, empty Shipping TrackID to start using. This is for the pallet to pack the checked-out stock on

  • The Printer pop will appear

  • Select Apply

  • A label will print that can be attached to the pallet you are packing

  • The Shipping TrackID number will also appear on the screen for information purposes.

  • This label will be replaced on the pallet with a more detailed shipping label at the end of the Shipping process that contain the customer and waybill information.

  • To pack out the stock on the pick slip onto the Shipping TrackID you must use the Standard Pack screen. This is discussed in detail in the Fasttrack WMS MSN Grocery Checkout LTL Orders

  • Select the Standard Packs button at the bottom right-hand corner of the screen

  • A pop-up window will appear where you can see how many full boxes the software calculates you must pack

  • You can change the No of Labels field, depending on how many cartons you want to pack on the current shipment pallet. This is just to tell the software that is the number of cartons packed on a single pallet

  • Selecting the Print link on the Pack Size Boxing data grid to update the number of boxes (based on the value entered in No. of Labels field) to be packed onto the shipping pallet for that stock code

  • The box number for each stock code will be updated and displayed in the Box Range column

  • Select the Close button (this will indicate that the pallet is full, and you will have to create another Shipping TrackID)

  • If you close the Pack Size Boxing screen, the MSN Grocery Pack screen will update, and the number of labels printed will show in the Completed Cartons list on the left-hand side of the screen

  • To create a second Shipping TrackID, select on the Shipping TrackID button again.

  • A pop-up message will appear, stating that the previous Shipping TrackID will close and a new one will be created to continue loading stock on a second pallet. Select Yes

  • Follow the process again, by selecting the Standard Packs button, and start adding boxes (based on the value entered in No. of Labels field) to be packed onto the second shipping pallet for that stock code

  • Once all stock is added to a shipping pallet(s) a pop-up will appear indicating that all stock has been loaded.

  • When the entire order is packed onto Shipping TrackIDs, a pop-up will appear prompting you to generate an Invoice or Dispatch Note

  • Select Close

  • Next, the software defaulted to printing a Packing List.

  • The Packing List contains a summary page first, and then shows the details of all the boxes and stock codes on the subsequent pages

  • At this stage the MSN Grocery transaction is complete, and all items have been packed on to a Shipping TrackID

To view Shipping TrackIDs that has been created you can use the Information Check screen
