This DATASCOPE PREMIUM WMS module allows users to easily transfer DATASCOPE WMS TrackIDs from one SYSPRO warehouse to another.

Typically, this module will be used when a production facility manufactures pallet loads of products, and the pallets must be transferred to a central distribution center (DC). The production facility will be configured as one warehouse (Warehouse SA) in SYSPRO and the central distribution center (DC) as another warehouse (Warehouse FG).

Note: the two warehouses can be physically separate buildings but do not have to be. It can be two separate locations within the same warehouse as well.

Inventory into Production Warehouse

The standard Job Receipt process would bring the pallets into inventory in the production warehouse (Warehouse SA). The production warehouse is also called the ‘supplying or source warehouse.’

Refer to the Job Receipt User Guide for more information on the Job Receipt process.

At the end of the Job Receipt process, a DATASCOPE WMS TrackID label will be printed for each pallet in the SYSPRO and DATASCOPE WMS supply warehouse.

Moving the Inventory to the Distribution Warehouse (GIT OUT)

At this stage, the product will be ready to be moved to the central distribution center (DC) (Warehouse FG), and a shuttle truck will be driving the job-receipted pallets to the DC (Warehouse FG).

To load the pallets on the shuttle truck, a GIT OUT transaction must be performed.

Note: To view Job Receipts, browse the Information Check screen on the Main Menu.

To move the pallets from the supplying warehouse (production warehouse) to the target warehouse (central distribution center), the ‘move relationship’ between the two warehouses must first be configured within SYSPRO.

Configure the ‘move relationship’ within SYSPRO.

  • Open SYSPRO

  • Browse to Inventory / Goods in Transit / Setup / Warehouse Move Matrix
