FUNCTIONALITY OVERVIEW
The Inventory back flush program is a replica of the one on the scanner. Normally all back flush transactions would be posted on a scanner in the warehouse or on the factory floor. However, there are times where a user would prefer to post a transaction from the PC.
The operator will enter the warehouse of the back flush receipt. Then the supplying warehouse is entered and the stock code and quantity.
On posting the transaction the transaction is posted in SYSPRO and if successfully posted it will create a new tracking ID (pallet) label and print this at the correct printer linked to this application and logged in warehouse.
STANDARD PROCESS
Enter the warehouse for the finished goods to be receipted into (BF into warehouse). The bin into which the stock is receipted is determined by the Warehouse setting INVENTORY BACKFLUSH>DEFAULT BIN
Enter the Warehouse from which the components will be drawn (this can be overridden by the Warehouse setting > Issue from component Warehouse)
Enter the stock code to be made
Enter the quantity to be made
Components will be depleted and a tracking ID for the finished item will print at the printer setup
SPECIAL FEATURES
Ensure that the component warehouse is setup as a WIP warehouse. Stock for components is only depleted in SYSPRO, so the pallets in DATASCOPE need to be made inactive by making the warehouse a WIP warehouse
Back flush level indicates if the BOM is single (S) or multilevel (M)
