You can lock Sales Orders sales orders by adjusting a System Settingthe system Settings. This prevents the accidental release of duplicate pick slips for a Sales Order when users open it a sales order for reservation and release. This System Setting will also block other users from accessing the same Sales Order.

System Administrators can use this screen to unlock the locked Sales Order. The moment one user opens a sales order to reserve stock against it that sales order is locked to that user. For example, when you run the Sales Order Wave Release screen, many Sales Orders can appear in the data grid. Inherently, a sales order wave release reservation transaction can take some time and can sometimes 'bomb out' causing the sales orders to be locked by that one user. This program can unlock such sales orders to allow another user to open that sales order and continue processing a stock reservation against it.

  • Search for the Sales Order in the SourceNumber column.

  • Select the line of the applicable Sales Order.

  • Select the Unlock button in the bottom right-hand corner.

  • You also have the option to select Unlock All.
