You can lock Sales Orders by adjusting a System Setting. This prevents the accidental release of duplicate pick slips for a Sales Order when users open it for reservation and release. This System Setting will also block other users from accessing the same Sales Order.

System Administrators can use this screen to unlock the locked Sales Order.

  • Search for the Sales Order in the SourceNumber column.

  • Select the line of the applicable Sales Order.

  • Select the Unlock button in the bottom right-hand corner.

  • You also have the option to select Unlock All.

TECHNICAL

  • To lock or unlock Sales Orders. Browse Settings / System Settings from the Ribbon Bar and locate the PICKING_SALES_ALLOCATION System Name. Update the ALLOW_DUPLICATE_ORDER_ENTRY SettingValue to Y(es) or N(o). If Y(es), the user will get a warning but can continue releasing a Pick slip. When N(o), a pop-up message will appear, asking the user to contact the System administrator.
