Thank you for your understanding and patienceThis Notification screen will list all the notification messages configured in the Notification Template Manager on the pc-screen.

This Notification Template Management screen allows users to set up pre-configured notification messages with a pre-assigned group of users. These Notifications can be used for information only or actionable tasks. If a user receives an actionable task via the Notification module, the software tracks the progress of the action and gives feedback to the original requestor once completed.

  • Upon login to the HTML5 scanner-based screen, a modal pop-up will display if you have any unread messages.

  • The total number of unread messages will be displayed in the top right-hand corner of the screen.

  • If you select Yes, the pop-up will redirect you to the Notification page, listing all your notifications. When selecting No, you will remain on the main page.

  • If you click on any message in the list, it will redirect you to the View Notification screen.

TECHNICAL

  • NoneThe messages must be configured first to receive Notification on the HTML device. Please look at the Notification Template Management screen on the PC-based application.

  • To receive notification messages, they must have the required permissions. The required permissions can be set on the PC screen under Settings / Permissions. Select the Menu Access Tab and ensure the Inbox it ticked under the Scanner Menu column.
