Quality Control / Quality Test Setup / Stock Code Test Maintenance [QUC003]

This screen adds the tests created in the Quality Test Setup screen to stock codes.

Various Filters can be set to locate the appropriate Stock Code to link tests to a specific Stock Code.

Note: Stock codes must be marked as Inspection required in SYSPRO; otherwise, they will not appear on this screen.

Try it!

  • From the Main Menu, browse to Quality Control / Quality Test Setup / Stock Code Test Maintenance.

  • The Stock Code Test Maintenance screen will open.

  • The following filter options exit to easily locate an applicable stock code(s):

o   From Stock Code and To Stock Code.

o   From Product Class and To Product Class. Product classes are used to group classes of merchandise items (i.e., stocked and non-stocked) together. These are maintained in SYSPRO and not DATASCOPE WMS. Example: RM - Raw Materials, SPEC - Specials

o   Warehouse. The user has the option to select All, or a specific Warehouse(s).

o   Test Category. These Categories refer to the Test Categories created in the Test Category Maintenance screen.

o   Other filter options also exist. The first three options are based on SYSPRO’s PartCategory field against the Stock Code Masterfile and the last option display stock codes where no tests exist.

Note: The PartCategory field can be viewed in SYSPRO under Inventory / Setup / Stock Code / PartCategory.

§  Bought Out – refer to the PartCategory field in SYSPRO.

§  Made In – refer to the PartCategory field in SYSPRO.

§  Sub Contract – refer to the PartCategory field in SYSPRO.

§  Only Include Where No Test Exist – this option will display Stock Codes with no tests linked to them.

  • Select the Stock Code for which you want to configure a Test. All Tests created (via the Quality Test Setup screen) will be visible as separate columns on the left-hand side of the data grid.

  • Select the tick box under the applicable test to link the selected stock code with a relevant test.
