Update Min/Max Quantities
If there is more than one WMS pickface bin setup for the same stock code in the same Warehouse, this module will take the lowest Min value and the highest Max value for the update and send it to the SYSPRO InvWarehouse tableThis report is used to compare the DATASCOPE PREMIUM WMS minimum and maximum QTYs of each stock code that has been configured in a Pick face bin with the minimum and maximum QTYs configured for the same stock code’s warehouse in SYSPRO. These QTYs must be in line to ensure various warehouse reports’ data is correct.
Typically, the Maintain Pickface module will be used to manage the minimum and maximum QTYs, and this Update Min/Max Quantities module will be used to push these values to SYSPRO to ensure warehouse management reports, like the Warehouse Replenishment Report, is correct.

The data in the Datascope WMS tables is setup at a bin level, and the data in SYSPRO is held at a Warehouse level. Therefore, this module takes the Pickface Pick face bins and stock codes settings and update SYSPRO at a Warehouse level. |
This module is used to update the fields in SYSPRO, so that SYSPRO data can be included in reporting or planning within SYSPRO core software.
Select the appropriate pickface Warehouse by selecting the drop-down and select a Warehouse.
Select the Refresh icon to load the data grid
The data in the data grid will load and be displayed in red
Select the Update button
The data will be uploaded to SYSPROthe applicable pick face warehouse from the Warehouse field drop-down.
The data grid will load. The stock codes in the data grid have all been set up in pick face bins that are linked to the warehouse selected in the Warehouse drop-down field.

Note: To view the pick face set up for the stock code, browse to KPI Dashboard and Reporting / Standard Reports / Pickface Query Report. |
If the line is green, then SYSPRO has been updated; if the line is red, you must still do an update as there’s a variance between SYSPRO and DATASCOPE PREMIUM WMS.
If two pickfaces were permitted to be configured for one stock code, their min and max QTYs might differ. This report will then display the lowest min QTY and the highest max QTY between the multiple pickface bins for the stock code.
Info |
---|
Note: If a stock code is configured in multiple bins, it only shows once in the report because DATASCOPE PREMIUM WMS data is at bin level whereas SYSPRO’s data is at warehouse level. |
The screen will update the MinQty configured for the one pick face bin and the MaxQty from the other pick face bin, but both for the same stock code.
Select Update.
The SYSPRO min and max QTYs for the stock codes’ warehouse will update to match the DATASCOPE PREMIUM WMS QTYs.
All lines that post successfully to SYSPRO will turn green.
The SYSPRO values that have been updated are located against the warehouse record of the stock code in SYSPRO.

TECHNICAL
NoneThe Pickface Query report can enables operators to quickly identify the designated pick face bin for a specific stock code within the system.
This report is mainly used to ensure the SYSPRO minimum and maximum stock code values are correct and in sync with the DATASCOPE PREMIUM WMS values.
These minimum and maximum values are used in other Warehouse Manager report, like the Warehouse Replenishment Report, located under the Replenishment module.
Warehouses will use DATASCOPE PREMIUM WMS to configure and maintain pick face data, and not SYSPRO, this module is used to push the min/max values back into SYSPRO to keep both systems aligned to ensure the correct values can be used in SYSPRO’s standard reports.
TECHNICAL
A system setting change is required in order to allow adding one stock code to multiple pick face bins. Browse Settings / System Settings on the Ribbon Bar and locate the PICKFACE system name.
