FASTTRACK WMS Licensing

The FASTTRACK WMS licensing forms part of the registration process and is obtained from the online order form once the subscription is paid.

The s file will be emailed to the client within 24 hours after receiving payment.

For more information, refer to the FASTTRACK WMS Accreditation Course.

The annual license fee (ALF) does not apply to FASTTRACK WMS licensing as it is a monthly subscription-based product. However, if a client wishes to purchase any of the DATASCOPE PREMIUM modules as an additional module not part of the FASTTRACK WMS Software suite, then they automatically move over to a DATASCOPE PREMIUM client, and then ALF will be applicable.

For more information on migrating from FASTTRACK WMS to DATASCOPE PREMIUM, refer to the Migrating from FASTTRACK WMS to DATASCOPE PREMIUM.

DATASCOPE PREMIUM Licensing

As the DATASCOPE PREMIUM version is for larger, more complex distribution and manufacturing sites, the client must start the registration process with discussions with one of our DATASCOPE Solution Providers (DSP).

ALF (Annual License Fee) applies. This is the annual license fee paid to DATASCOPE before the Customer uses the Software for twelve months. The License must be renewed yearly.

License File

The FASTTRACK WMS and DATASCOPE PREMIUM License file is an XML file issued by the DATASCOPE Admin department after receiving payment. This XML file cannot be edited, as tampering will lock Operators out of the system.

The XML file resides on the DATASCOPE WMS Software server, usually at C:/DatascopeLicense/ (for DATASCOPE PREMIUM) or C:/FastTrack/License/ (for FASTTRACK WMS)

The Software must have permission to read and write to this file.

The DATASCOPE PREMIUM License file is linked with the yearly ALF (Annual License Fee), and the License will expire annually when payment is due. The DATASCOPE Admin department will send out renewed License files after receiving payment.

Note: It is important to note that Operators will not be able to log into the system once the License file has expired.

The License file contains the following information:

·        Name of the Company

·        Expiry Date

·        Maximum number of users

·        The modules purchased and may be used.

Note: The License file is validated and updated on every system login.
