Over twelve different reservation rules exist within DATASCOPE, as well as functionality for custom rules to be developed by consultants. All are settings based and user configurable. A simple rule to reserve stock from the pickface first and then bulk is recommended. Manual reservation for particular cases is allowed, and over-reservation of pickface bins (but not of all stock in the Warehouse) can be enabled.
