The Transport Management System (TMS) is a DATASCOPE WMS module that will automatically integrate directly into external Shipping or TMS solutions. This is to make sure that the process on your warehouse floor is fully integrated and automated.

This User Guide will focus on how to use the TMS module out of the box.

Prerequisites

To start use the TMS module you should already have done the following:

Have a licensed version of the TMS module.
The TMS Module must be activated within DATASCOPE WMS
The TMS Service must have been downloaded from System Manager
The TMS Service must have been configured and is running.
The initial plugins required are built and configured.

Without the above in place, you will not be able to use the TMS system successfully. For more information on activation and configuration, refer to the TMS Activation and Configuration User Guide. Building and configuring the plugins is discussed in more detail in the Plugin Customization User Guides.
