When running software in a Docker image there is a specific way that printers need to be installed. All FASTTRACK WMS printing points to a printer installed on the FASTTRACK WMS server and therefore your printers – barcode label or laser printers need to be installed on the WMS server. This video steps you through how to install a printer that works with your Docker installation.

Just on printer naming. It is wise to use some logic in your printer names so that it’s easy to configure (map) them in FASTTRACK WMS. A typical example would be “POREC_RM_4x2.5”   – This explains that it’s the PO Receiving barcode printing in warehouse RM and has 4×2.5in labels in it.

The following will take you through a typical printer installation and setup process. Please follow these steps and setup your first Barcode Label printer.
