FUNCTIONALITY OVERVIEW
There are times in a manufacturing business where a large number of jobs cannot be released to the factory because a key raw material component. is no longer available, however this component could be replaced with an alternative component. The program will run through the SYSPRO jobs that have not already been released into picking slips and will replace the problem component with the selected alternative.
This function can also be done within the Job Releasing screen but on a line by line level.
This program allows us to replace the component on all Jobs waiting to be released to the factory. The update is completed in core SYSPRO on each jobs Material Allocation list.
