Backorder Report [PIK050]

Because all sales orders must either be in Backorder or InReserve for DATASCOPE WMS, it can sometimes be difficult to ascertain which lines are valid backorders and are merely awaiting a DATASCOPE WMS Pick Slip to be released.

This report is to help identify where there is insufficient stock on hand to meet the current orders. The report can be filtered quickly using the “Available Stock Filter”. There are three filters – (1) All, (2) Net > 0 and Available > 0 and (3) Net > 0 and Available = 0. The second filter will assist in where the current stock on hand can meet the orders. The third filter will assist by identifying which stock codes are out of stock – the sales team can use this information to advise their customers and the purchasing team to expedite orders for out-of-stock items.

Note:  It is suggested that this report be shown to the Procurement Department daily to rectify stock-outs.

  • You can select your filter requirements to find the applicable Sales Orders easily. There are three ‘Available Stock Filters’
