Mobile screen device Emulation
None
When setting up a demo environment and you don’t have access to a mobile device or scanner, it is beneficial to use a mobile screen device emulation to demonstrate how the HTML5 screens will display on a mobile device (or scanner).
This will assist the customer in visualizing HTML5 interfaces as they appear and operate.

The standard Google Chrome browser allows for this natively.
Here are a couple of simple steps, detailed below how to configure Google Chrome to display the HTML5 screens on a mobile emulation interface.
To open the HTML 5 scanner window from the PC, go to the Ribbon bar at the top and select Launch HTML5. This will open the HTML5 sub-menu.
Click on the Launch HTML5 icon.
Your HTML 5 scanner window will load.
From the kebab menu in the top right-hand corner and browse to More Tools / Developer Tools
Select the Device Mode button.
Select the Dimensions Responsive drop-down and select a device.
The HTML5 screen will adjust according to the mobile device you have selected.
Next, minimize the Debugging window by selecting Source and the kebab menu. Select the undock icon.
Once the debugging windows has be undocked, you can minimize this to only display the HTML5 screen in the chosen mobile screen format.
You can now demo the HTML5 screen in the device emulation mode with the chosen device. This will give the client an idea how the HTML5 screens will function on a mobile device.
