WMS Software Prerequisites

The second portion of the prerequisites is the software that needs to be installed before installing FASTTRACK WMS or DATASCOPE WMS.
Two installation processes can be followed:
FASTTRACK WMS - Docker
DATASCOPE PREMIUM - System Manager
The guidelines below will outline the Software Prerequisites that need to be installed before installing the DATASCOPE PREMIUM WMS system. These software packages can be installed using the System Manager, guiding you through the process. This consists of the following installations, and the document below will outline the installation and configuration process in more detail.

What you will need:
System Manager .MSI Agent
DATASCOPE WMS License file (obtained from your DSP)
SYSPRO Operator (preferably in the ADMIN group)
SQL Account (preferably a sysadmin account and NOT the “sa” account

Installing Docker
In order to install FASTTRACK WMS you will have to download and install the Docker Installer first.

Installing System Manager
The first step to installing the Software prerequisites is downloading and installing the System Manager.
The System Manager is the first software application installed on the WMS Server and is key to the DATASCOPE WMS Ecosystem.

Installing a new Port
What is a Port?
A Port refer to a minor version of the software. Typically, smaller bugs are fixed with a new Port and larger enhancements, or new functionality are released within a new version.
Open System Manager
Select the 2. Download a Port/Upgrade option.
Click Next.
From the Download Filter drop-down select the Port/Upgrade option.
From the Version drop-down select the required version. (we advise newest version less one)
From the Download drop-down select the required Port
Select Next.
Your Port will be downloaded successfully.
Once you have a version and Port downloaded, you can continue to Validate the Server Roles.
Validating the Server Roles
Validating server roles is done as part of the clean installation process. Follow the steps below to do a Clean Install.
The next step is to validate the Server Roles. This is done by opening the System Manager and selecting the 4. Clean Install option.
Select Next.
The following Server Roles will be validated.

Microsoft Message Querying.
After clicking Next, a pop-up asking to install a patch will appear.
On the above message, select Yes to continue.
Select the Server Roles tab.
Installing the Software Prerequisites (DATASCOPE PREMIUM WMS)
The final step in the prerequisites process is to install the Software prerequisites as shown below in the Software group.
You are still working in System Manager in the 4. Clean Install option.
Select the Software tab to install the Software prerequisites.
Click the Install button on the right of each Software prerequisite to install these components. Once installed, they should show a green tick, as shown below
Lastly, you must add the License File. Browse to the folder where you have saved the .XML file.
The detail of the License File will appear in a pop-up.
Select Next once all Software prerequisites are installed.
The next step is to configure the environment.
Select Next to go to the next step to start configuring the system.
