HTML / TrackID Creation [WHS040]

This screen is mainly used for the initial take on of inventory into the WMS during the project go-live stage. This module should very seldom be used once the software is running.

However, if some transactions occur in SYSPRO only, you can use this module to generate the matched stock labels for WMS.

This is, however, the simplest way to create pallet labels for all your inventory before going live. You can instruct a few users to work through the warehouse with a scanner and a mobile printer to ensure every pallet has a physical label.

From the Ribbon Bar select Launch HTML5 and on the sub-menu you can select Launch HTML5 again

The HTML5 scanner-based screen will open

  • Type TrackID Creation in the lookup field and select the TrackID Creation button

  • The TrackID Creation screen will open

  • The user will scan the stock code (or type it in) and the Bin Location

Scan the Sock Code and Bin location

  • Update the Quantity

  • Select Add

  • The next stock code can be scanned (or entered) again

Once all the stock codes in that Bin location have been entered you can select the Print button
