Warehouse Setup / TrackID Maintenance / TrackID Creation Advanced - WHS044

After a Credit Note was processed within SYSPROs RMA module, the returned stock must be placed back into DATASCOPE WMS, and SYSPRO and DATASCOPE WMS must be balanced.

The TrackID Creation Advanced module within DATASCOPE WMS will be used for this. This module is used to identify any stock in SYSPRO, but not in DATASCOPE WMS, and to print TrackID labels for that stock.

  • The functionality exists to use SYSPROs Pallet Quantity field to generate a quantity of stock on a TrackID. This is stored against the stock code’s warehouse record in SYSPRO.

  • To view this, open SYSPRO

o   Browse to Inventory / Inventory Query

o   Locate the stock code by entering it in the Stock code field.

o   On the Stock Codes screen, you can right-click on the stock code and select Warehouses.

o   The Warehouses for Stock Code: A100 will open. Select the same Warehouse used for the RMA.

Note: The following screens will open only for the selected stock code, i.e., example A100

o   Select the Change button to maintain the warehouse.

o   View the Pallet quantity that has been setup against the specific stock code. This is the Qty by which the Receipt Quantity will be divided and the number of TrackIDs that will be created.

o   Close SYSPRO and return to DATASCOPE WMS

  • Select the check box in the Select column for the stock code you want to work with.

  • The Receipt Quantity field will become editable, but you do not need to change this.

  • To create a TrackID based on SYSPROs Pallet Quantity field you can right-click on the selected stock code. The following pop-up will appear.

  • Select Allocate Across TrackIDs

  • The software will divide the Receipt Quantity (example 82) by SYSPROs Pallet Quantity (example 10) and the remaining (example 2) will be on their own TrackID. In this example 8 TrackIDs with 10 items each and 1 TrackID with 2 items will be created.

  • The new TrackIDs will be created, but nothing will be printed.
